For those assigned to Overseas Mission

The idea of Local Churches exchanging evangelizers has become part of the new understanding of mission. This intensive orientation programme is designed to prepare priests and religious assigned to overseas mission for the formidable task of passing over to a new culture and ambience. They will be helped to know their own culture and pass over into the new culture that they are sent to. A special feature of the course is the sharing of lived experiences by missionaries from foreign countries.

The themes treated are: culture and cultural transition, psychological frontiers to overseas mission, skills for community living and ministry, dynamics of missionary presence, and new religious movements.
